Coach Cannizzo played collegiate baseball at Suffolk CC for Eric Brown, as well as at the University of New Haven.
Coaching experience includes 20+ years of travel/summer league baseball at various levels. Coached collegiate players for over 10 years in the Stan Musial summer league. Coached for the Long Island Mariners under collegiate coaches Randy Caden (St. Joseph College) and Eric Brown (Suffolk CC). Most recently coached and operated the Lions Baseball Travel team for three years (2019-2021) and currently the last five years coaching with 5 Star (2022-2026). Also coached youth basketball, soccer and dek hockey.
